A Dog’s Destiny

These seven cohesive illustrations are spunky and made in the form of a short booklet promoting adoption. Being a kid-friendly read with child-like energy, I loved experimenting with rough edges and a muted but bold color scheme.

BOLD POSTER w texture.jpg

Be BOLD

While practicing different hand lettering techniques, I experimented with a primary color scheme and new textures. This quote needed to be loud and proud and that is what I tried to accomplish with this tailored sketch style.

Me, Myself, and Slime

Me, Myself, and Slime is an illustration that I made as an iPhone wallpaper. This piece expresses my love for quirky, bold patterns.

A Cappella T-Shirt Design

I sketched and designed the 2018 t-shirt for the Missouri State University A Cappella group, Sound Bearrier. They are a newly formed group on campus and wanted their name to be represented in some way while staying within a retro theme. The cartoon illustration of a biplane breaking the sound barrier happened to be a cool way to outline the name of this A Cappella group.

Sprinkle Poster

A yummy theme and some practice in typography made for a fun passion project! I wanted to go for a cozy bakery feeling with warm, bright colors.

BIRD-01.jpg

FREE BIRD

I created “FREE BIRD” for the Los Angeles social justice festival, INTO ACTION. It is an expansive week long pop-up art exhibition featuring all art mediums. Although my piece was not chosen for the festival, I enjoyed making FREE BIRD inspired by Maya Angelou’s book, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
